“Alarm business” means and includes any business, both resident and non-resident, engaged in the installation, maintenance, alteration, repair, replacement, or servicing of alarm systems or which responds to or causes others to respond to those alarm systems at a protected premises within this state.

Fire alarm systems and alarm systems which monitor temperature, humidity or any other condition and closed circuit television systems are excluded from the provisions of this chapter. For these types of systems, an electrical or telecommunication will be required.

Telecommunications Line Installers and Repairers string and repair telephone and television cable, including fiber optics and other equipment for transmitting messages or television programming.

Audio and Video Equipment Technicians set up or set up and operate audio and video equipment including microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards, and related electronic equipment for concerts, sports events, meetings and conventions, presentations and news conferences.
